| Cabin lodging with all the comforts of home in the beautiful Shawnee National Forest of Southern Illinois. Cabins are decorated in a pleasing cabin style with everything provided for your visit except food. We have cabins perfect for couples, cabins perfect for families and cabins perfect for group gatherings, family reunions, women's get togethers, single visitors looking for a peaceful retreat, hunters, everyone who loves nature and all it offers. We have 77 acres of mostly forest surrounded by the Shawnee National Forest and many area attractions. |

Accommodations: |
| We have five cabins ranging from cabins for two to four people to our larger cabins which can sleep eight. Our two smaller cabins, Cougar Bluff and the Bear's Den sleep four comfortably. The Bear's Den can sleep five using the love seat sleeper. Coyote Hollow sleeps five comfortably. Deer Run sleeps eight comfortably and our elite cabin (to be complete July of 08) Eagle's Retreat, will sleep eight comfortably. Each cabin has a screened in porch. Eagle's Retreat porch is 12'x22', Deer Run porch is 10'x18', Coyote Hollow screened porch is 12'x16' with a 24' open porch across front of cabin. Bear's Den and Cougar Bluff both have 12'x8' screened in porches. |

| Cabins have all amenities including air conditioning. full bath with shower, full kitchens (Bear's Den and Cougar Bluff have apartment size stove and refrigerator), microwaves, all kitchen essentials, dishes, pots and pans, toaster, coffee maker including coffee,and popcorn. Each cabin has heat, air, ceiling fans, satellite/HBO tv & DVD. All linens are provided. Cabins have electric fireplaces. Coyote Hollow, Deer Run and Eagle's Retreat have full size kitchen appliances. |

Area Attractions & Activities: |
| We are bordered by the Shawnee National Forest, across the road from Rim Rock hiking trail, 1 mile from Pounds Hollow Lake, minutes from spectacular Garden of the Gods, Cave-in-Rock, River to River Trail, Kentucky Amish Country, Glen O Jones Lake, Iron Furnace and much more. Located on the Shawnee Hills Scenic Byway, The American Discovery Trail and only 1/3 mile from the River to River Trail. The free ferry on the Ohio River at Cave-in-Rock is only 13 miles away and will take you to Amish Country in Kentucky. Access to the Shawnee Ohio River Taxi at Cave-in-Rock, Elizabethtown or Rosiclare is minutes away. Hiking, horseback riding swimming, fishing sight seeing, river travel, hunting...or just relaxing. We have it all in Southern Illinois. Herod's Casino is just 1 hour away in Metropolis, Paducah Riverfront is 1 hour away. Race fans can go to Paducah International Raceway in an hour and a half. The race track at Calvert City, Kentucky is an hour and a half away. The Miners Minor League Baseball stadium is located in Marion, Illinois - 45 minutes away. We are 6 hours from Chicago, 3 1/2 hours from St. Louis, 1 hour from Paducah, 1 1/2 hour from Evansville, 30 minutes from Harrisburg, 45 minutes from Marion, Il and 1 hour from Carbondale. |
